What is AdBlue?

AdBlue is a urea-based fluid injected into the exhaust system of many modern diesel vehicles. It works with the SCR system to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by converting them into nitrogen and water.

The system relies on several components working correctly, including:

• AdBlue tank and level sensors

• SCR catalyst
